What does “All-Natural” mean?

According to the FDA, products are deemed “Natural” if nothing artificial or synthetic, including color additives regardless of source, has been included in or added to the food that would not normally be expected to be in that food.
All MISS VICKIE'S^® snacks meet the FDA definition of “All Natural” as well as our own strict internal guidelines.

Where do you grow the ingredients for MISS VICKIE'S^® snacks?

All of our corn is grown in the U.S.A., and our potatoes and grains are grown in the U.S.A. and Canada.

How many chips are in a 1 oz. serving?

Our bags are filled by ounce weight rather than by the number of chips. We estimate that there are about 15 Kettle Cooked Potato Chips or Nine Grain Chips in a 1 ounce serving. A 1 ounce serving of Kettle Corn is about ¾ cup.

Are MISS VICKIE'S^® snacks Kosher?

All of MISS VICKIE'S^® kettle cooked potato chips are Kosher certified:
Simply Sea Salt flavor is OU
Country Onion with 3 Cheeses flavor is OU Dairy
Creamy Buttermilk Ranch flavor is OU Dairy
Hand Picked Jalapeno flavor is OU Dairy
Smokehouse BBQ flavor is OU Dairy
Sea Salt & Vinegar flavor is OU Dairy

Do MISS VICKIE'S^® snacks contain trans fat?

NONE of our products contain trans fat or “partially hydrogenated” oils. In scientific studies, trans fats appear to raise blood levels of total cholesterol and LDL, considered "bad" cholesterol, and therefore, may increase the risk of coronary heart disease.

Do any MISS VICKIE'S^® snacks contain gluten?

Only our Nine Grain Chips contain gluten. None of our other MISS VICKIE'S^® snacks contain gluten.

Are peanuts or tree nuts processed in your facility?

While there are no nuts in our products, our Kettle Cooked Potato Chips and Kettle Corn are produced on equipment that also makes products containing peanuts or peanut oil. There are no nuts processed in the facility where we produce our Nine Grain Chips.

Do MISS VICKIE'S^® snacks contain MSG?

No, none of our snacks contain MSG.

What is triticale?

Triticale (trit-ih-kay-lee) is a hybrid grain, a cross between wheat and rye. The word “triticale” is a fusion of the Latin words triticum (wheat) and secale (rye).
Triticale has been grown for over 200 years,
and is one of the grains featured in
MISS VICKIE'S® Nine Grain Chips.

MISS VICKIE'S^® kettle cooked potato chips were first introduced in 1985. Nine Grain Chips and Kettle Corn were introduced in 2008.
